Jamie is a devoted animal lover that grew up surrounded by rescues and fosters. This led her to adopt her own dog, Boomer, at 18. After earning a degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois, she embarked on a rescue career, realizing the impact of simple behavioral fixes while working at Chicago Animal Control. She then honed her skills at CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and continued to do so under mentor David Roos at one of Chicago’s largest daycare, boarding, and training facilities. She has now established herself in Tampa, offering coaching and support for families and their furry companions. With over 10 years of experience in the animal welfare and training industries, she is passionate about helping dogs and their owners achieve a harmonious and rewarding relationship.

Boomer- mixed breed/rescue (Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd/Cattle dog/Husky/Chow Chow!) 12 years old, heart of gold

Finn- tabby cat/rescue, 7 years old, so cool he’s basically a dog
